The Twelve Days of Christmas - Festive Holiday Decorations & Gifts for Home, Office & Christmas Celebrations

After we borrowed a 12 days of Christmas book from the library, my son really took a liking to the book and song immediately. We tried a few different books from the library after that, but never found one that truly did the 12 Days of Christmas justice. The other books we found just lacked in their illustrations or varied from the traditional gift names and order of the gifts.That is when I looked around and researched these books on Amazon. I found this version and was excited to give it a try. I bought it as an early Christmas present for my 4 year old son and he LOVED it! We read it about every night leading up to Christmas, and for about a week after. He would even memorize the song/story and present it to an audience at family Christmas gatherings to their enjoyment.The book is pretty thick as it has many "moving" components in the illustrations as it utilizes Animotion illustration technology. We found this pretty cool as it brought the story to life. The illustrations are great even without the moving components though, but they added more enjoyment and excitement for my son. The illustrations are in a classic, traditional Christmas village type setting. I would highly recommend this version of the 12 Days of Christmas to anyone with a child in mind. I'm sure this book is going to be a hit with both our kids for years to come.
